Our first place of touring is the Cedar Creek Estate, the owners of the Glow Worm cave. After our morning tea and wine tasting we take a guided tour of the cave. A short video inside before we head into the dark premises of the glow worm. There are no steps and the floor is very even and safe. Your guide will inform you of the exciting existence of these wondrous creatures. No flash photography as the worms will turn off their tail light.
You can have a photo of you with your head inside a glow worms body just for memories and fun. There is also a frog barn with creatures that are extinct but kept alive by the biologists that work at the Cedar Creek ecosystem. They constantly patrol the estate for insects to feed the valued creatures in the hut. Cedar Creek is not just a winery but a company that cares for the Australian wildlife.
